Why we built this

Hong Kong businesses deserve AI that works for them — not the other way around. We watched companies pay monthly subscriptions for AI tools that stored their data on foreign servers, forgot conversations between sessions, and offered no control over what the AI could do.

We built MonoClaw because we believed there was a better model: local deployment on your own Mac, local model inference, local data sovereignty, and an AI secretary with real guardrails. Mona runs on your Mac, remembers your context, and asks before external actions.

Our Mission

Deploy practical, secure AI for Hong Kong's small and medium businesses. Not another subscription. Not another chatbot. A capable colleague that lives on your hardware and respects your boundaries.

What we believe

Personal computers were meant to be personal. Software was meant to be something you owned, ran where you wanted, and stopped paying for when you got tired of it. Somewhere between 2010 and now we lost all three. We do not accept that as the natural state of things.

MonoClaw is a Software 3.0 product — a pre-trained language model acting as your computer, programmed in plain English. We deliberately ship it as edge-first software on hardware you bought from Apple, not as a monthly fee on someone else's server. The Apple Silicon in your office is enough. There is no reason an LLM running on your Mac needs to consume any of the 460 TWh of electricity or 17.4 billion gallons of water that hyperscale data centres burned in a single year.

You should own what you buy. Compute sovereignty is not a feature — it is the floor.

Meet Mona

A capable colleague, not a chatbot.

Mona is a digital personal secretary — warm, composed, and concise. She carries calm confidence without arrogance. She operates headlessly from a Mac, with post-purchase messaging setup and other surfaces where you configure them.

M

I don't use emoji. I don't say 'Great question!' I just help.

What Mona is not

  • Not overly enthusiastic or salesy
  • No AI buzzwords — no 'leverage,' 'empower,' or 'revolutionize'
  • No sycophancy — she respects your time by being direct
  • Professional, clear, and honest — even when the answer is 'I cannot do that'

The Company

Sentimento Technologies Limited is the parent company behind MonoClaw. Based in Hong Kong, we specialise in deploying practical AI solutions for small and medium businesses across the city.

How MonoClaw works

MonoClaw is the local software that runs Mona on your Mac. After setup, she works through the channels and workflows you configure—email, messaging, and other integrations—using a bundled skill catalog and tools. She asks for approval before sending messages, submitting forms, or taking other actions that affect the outside world. Your workspace data and memory stay on your Mac; prompts leave the device only when you configure a hosted model provider.
